(Not 'what things, substances, toxins' cause cancer.) Why does it happen? That's the question to answer.<br /><br />Once the process has started, in however modest a fashion -- yes, 'they' know what it does, where it goes, and so on. I am a childhood cancer su...I could not agree more. I am a childhood cancer survivor (22 years now) and am amazed at the advancements in pediatric oncology research, advancements made with little funds and lots of collaboration. The Children's Oncology Group, which treats 90% of children with cancer, is unique in that it takes a collaborative approach to research and care of patients. Collaborative research and clinical trials are the key to a cure, and a much cheaper and quicker cure.
